The Bachelor of Global Operation Management program* aims to cultivate management professionals with a global vision for international franchised brands, the food and beverage industry, and the leisure sector. Leveraging Macao’s strengths as a leisure destination, the program focuses on enhancing students’ management and operational capabilities in an international environment, establishing a solid knowledge foundation in Global Enterprise Operation Management, Global Food and Beverage Operation Management, and Global Franchising Operation Management. The program simultaneously emphasizes fostering students' innovative thinking and practical application skills, deepens their understanding of international management cultures, and strengthens their ability to address operational challenges.
The program includes three specializations, namely as Global Enterprise Operation Management, Global Food and Beverage Operation Management and Global Franchising Operation Management. Students will engage in diverse practical learning methods by their own interests:
1) Internships and report: Corporate internship helps students plan their courses and career development, and combines theory with practice. Through industry-university cooperation, students can receive guidance and counseling from the industry, which is conducive to students' good career planning and career orientation.
2) Graduation thesis: As the core link of academic research and professional development, the process requires students to systematically study international academic literature to deepen their understanding of transnational academic culture and research paradigms, and then construct a global perspective.
3) Academic exchanges: Through in-depth interactions with people from different cultural backgrounds, students can enhance their cross-cultural communication skills, thereby strengthening their competitive advantages in future international industry operations and management.
In our elective courses, students will study cutting-edge management technologies and tools, such as "Special Topics of Automation and Systems Engineering” and “Artificial Intelligence”. These courses can equip students with advanced techniques to improve operational efficiency and management effectiveness while fostering innovation in practical applications.
Graduates’ career directions span international brand operations, global entertainment operations, international leisure industry operations, and international food and beverage quality control. They are able to pursue managerial roles in internationally related professional industries, meeting the current demands for specialized talent in leisure management and related fields. Additionally, graduates may opt for entrepreneurial ventures to develop international businesses, facilitating the growth of international management industry in Macao.
